I choose Callahan Contracting to do a major rehab on my home, and am well pleased with the job that was done. Mr. Callahan was on the job every day and kept close tabs on those that worked for him and the subcontractors. He also worked closely with city Officials and always passed inspection for permits the first time. Once they completed the job, they never had to be called back to redo, repair, etc. That’s very important to me, as in the past; I have had a chronic problem with many other contractors.

Through the years I have used the expertise of Jim Callahan for remodeling 2 houses. The first house (quite large) was rather an extensive remodeling project. The kitchen, very large, I had new custom cabinets installed, tile floors and tile backsplashes above a large “Corian” countertop. The Master bathroom was entirely redone with Marble floors and Granite countertops and full-length mirrors. The Family room was also redone. After moving to another home, I again asked Jim to help me redecorate the kitchen with new cabinets, granite tops, and recessed lighting. The Master bathroom received new custom cabinets, granite tops, beautiful custom faucets, and mirrors. Next was the Den with new custom oak cabinets consisting of bookcases, computer work station along the window wall and additional book shelves with recessed lighting throughout that completed the Den. Recently he changed all of my old windows to new vinyl double pane type energy efficient windows, including 2 sliding glass vinyl doors. In all an extremely satisfying job. Jim is very pleasant, informative, and he knows how to choose his workers. His cabinetmaker is well above average. Jim is very attentive to your every need, and his decorating suggestions are very much appreciated. I have nothing but praise for the quality and professionalism of his work. In the future if and when I need more remodeling, I won’t hesitate to call upon Jim. He is a talented and capable Contractor.
